Ela Motors Waigani Opens

September 9th 2014 saw the opening of Ela Motors Papua New Guinea Waigani. This state of the art facility is home to Papua New Guineas first dedicated Yamaha retail outlet aptly named Yamaha OneStop.

As Ela Motors continues over 50 years commitment to PNG the opening of the brand new showroom at Waignai heralded further investment of the Toyota Tushso Corporation Japan throughout the South Pacific Group. The brand new facility was opened with a merging of Japanese and Papua New Guinea cultures. International guests of TTC Executive General Manager Mr. Takeshi Yano, TTSPH Managing Director Mr. Shigeru Ito and Ela Motors CEO Takeshi Abe, accompanied by PNG Japanese Ambassador Morio Matsumoto and PNG Transport Minister Mr. William Duma, rounded up the group of distinguished guests to officially open the new showroom.
